Republic has home-court advantage and the top seed in the upcoming district basketball tournaments next week. Both the boys and girls have a bye in the first round.
On the boys side, Republic is seeded #1 based largely on its six combined wins against Hillcrest (2), Marshfield (3) and Rogersville (4). Bolivar (5) and Buffalo (6) round out the field.
On the girls side, Republic is top seed ahead of Bolivar (2), Hillcrest (3), Marshfield (4), Rogersville (5), and Buffalo (6).
