It took just six games for the three Republic volleyball teams to sweep past Neosho in a COC conference matchup at Republic Tuesday night.
The varsity Lady Tigers capped the sweep by defeating Neosho 25-17, 25-14. Neosho jumped out quickly, leading 12-4 in the first game. But Brady Glessner’s strong serve wrested the momentum back from the Wildcats and put Republic on top to stay. Glessner served for 12 consecutive points, giving the Lady Tigers a 16-12 lead, and they cruised the rest of the way.
The JV team stayed undefeated, winning 25-12, 25-15. They’re now 15-0 on the season.
The freshmen also won in two games, 25-17, 25-8.
