Republic High School has hired Piper Wright as its new head volleyball coach. Wright was the head coach at Parkview, after playing college volleyball at Southwest Baptist University.
“We are very excited about Coach Wright joining our staff,” Activities Director Greg Garton said. “She is an outstanding teacher and coach. Her positive attitude is what set her apart from the other candidates.”
Wright will also teach PE at Schofield Elementary. She replaces Katie Kreimer, who led the Republic program to the state quarterfinals two times in four seasons as head coach.
