Tigers Compete in State Cross-Country Meet

Two Republic Tigers competed in the Class 3 cross-country state championships at Jefferson City Saturday. Freshman Ryan Way finished with a time of 17:57.81. That was good enough to put him in the top half of the field overall, and it was the 4th-best time by a freshman. Twenty freshmen qualified for the event.

Junior Taylor Mooneyham also competed, and finished with a time of 19:25.35.

Ladue Horton Watkins took the Class 3 team championship, edging out 2nd-place Festus.
