The Republic softball team is the top seed in a six-team field for the upcoming District 11 Tournament at Bolivar. The Lady Tigers will have a bye in the first round, along with #2 seed Reeds Spring.
Third-seeded Bolivar will face #6 Aurora in the first round. The #4 seed, Cassville, faces #5 Buffalo in the other first-round game.
Republic meets the winner of the Cassville/Buffalo game Thursday, Oct 8, at 4 p.m. The other semifinal features Reeds Spring against Bolivar or Aurora. The district final is set for noon Saturday.
