Republic closed its regular season by overpowering Buffalo in two games Thursday, 25-22 25-14. Alex Botkin had 14 digs to lead the defense for Republic. Shelby Gordon had five kills and Jordan Jones added 18 assists for the Lady Tigers.
State-ranked Republic (#4) improves to 21-7-2 overall. Buffalo falls to 19-9.
In the JV match, Republic cruised past the Bison, 25-19 25-14.
