Lady Tigers Rebound to Win COC Tourney

Sometimes a heartbreaking loss late in the season can be the beginning of the end. Other times, it lights a fire.

For the Lady Tigers, the fire apparently started burning immediately after they lost their first dual of the season in their regular-season finale at Ozark. Playing just two days later in the conference tournament, Republic showed no signs of a letdown. The Lady Tigers reached the finals in three of the four brackets on the way to a Central Ozark Conference tournament championship Tuesday.

Kaitlyn Snyder won the top singles bracket for a third consecutive season. Carly McAtee and Hannah Morgan teamed up to win the #2 doubles bracket, overcoming a 4-0 deficit to win 8-6. Isabella Freeman and Jordyn Gianopulos finished second in #1 doubles. Katie Stiles finished sixth in #2 doubles.
