The Republic Middle School volleyball teams both won their matches at Rolla Tuesday night. The 8th grade and 7th grade A teams were both victorious. The B teams did not play.
For the 7th grade team, it was a straight set victory — 25-22 25-17. It was the first win in a Republic uniform for the 7th grade girls, after the A and B teams lost last week to open the season.
The win was also the first for the 8th grade A team, who had lost its opener. They won in straight sets, as well. (The 8th grade B team had won its opening match last week.)
