High school athletics involves a lot more than the players and coaches. At our annual Republic Tiger Sports Awards Banquet in June, we’ll honor one graduating senior with the Tiger Spirit Award! Vote below for your choice. You can vote ONCE PER HOUR anytime through midnight next Sunday night.
Every year, we choose one student whose work embodies Tiger Spirit as a member of the cheer squad, the Tigerettes, or the Tiger Pride Band. Here are this year’s nominees, with short introductions written by their coaches/advisors:
Tigerettes – Bailey Peabody
Bailey brings a positive and cheerful attitude to every single game. She always goes above and beyond to be the best teammate she can, while cheering on and supporting the Tigers.
Band – Dawson Schneringer
Dawson Schneringer is a hard working, dedicated individual that goes above and beyond with all he does. If he sees a problem, he will think ahead and present a solution. He is a strong presenter of Tiger Spirit.
Cheer – Morgan Wojciechowski
Morgan embodies school spirit by being an ambassador for our school district and wearing her cheerleading uniform with pride. Morgan always participates in every spirit day and always encourages everyone to participate, too. She is a great role model and strives for excellence in everything she does.
