Baseball Tigers Shut Out at Parkview

Parkview’s Caleb Brockman shut down Republic Monday night, helping the Vikings to a 4-0 win in Springfield. Brockman pitched a complete game shutout, allowing seven hits, striking out six, and walking just one.

Tim McWilliams took the loss for the Tigers, allowing four runs on seven hits. He struck out six and didn’t walk a batter. The Vikings managed two runs in the first inning and two more on a Nick Young home run in the third inning, and that was all they’d need behind Brockman.

Jaden Duvall was 2-for-3 for the Tigers.

Republic falls to 6-9. The Tigers host Nixa Thursday.
