Three Lady Tigers — Jasmyn Douglas, Jade Kirby, and Jazzy Kirby — qualified for state sectionals at the district cross country meet at Ray-Pec Saturday. All three finished within nine seconds of each other, placing 27th, 29th, and 30th, respectively.
Douglas led the way for Republic with a time of 21:39.33. Jade Kirby finished in 21:45.39, with Jazz Kirby right behind, at 21:48.19.

In the boys’ race, Chad Parker was the top finisher for Republic, at 49th. He ran the course in 18:53.72. Luke Willis was the only other Tiger to finish in under 20 minutes. Get full results of the boys race here.
